The funeral for lifetime war monger and former VP Dick Cheney the author of the lie Iraq had weapons of mass destruction that led to our war in that country, was held at Washington’s National Cathedral Thursday. Cheney became bitter late in his life because Donald Trump had changed the establishment Republican Party into a populist party representing nationalism as the political paradigm in the country changed with the election of Barack Hussein Obama from Rs and Ds to globalists versus nationalists.

President Trump announced he would not be attending the funeral, no doubt to the fact that Cheney and his daughter Liz were used by the Democrats and corporate media to go scorched earth on Trump and his policies since his rise ended the decades old Bush dynasty that included Dick Cheney. The old establishment Republican Party of the Bush’s and Cheney’s that included being the party of never ending wars all over the world was over with the rise of Donald Trump. Officially not only was President Trump not invited, neither was VP JD Vance or anyone from the administration. Who WAS at the Cheney funeral was a who’s who of some of the greatest liars, fraudster, and hoaxers in history!

Sitting in the pews of the National Cathedral was Dr. “Mengele” Fauci, father of the COVID bio weapon that killed millions worldwide. Fauci is the the arrogant fraudster who lied about the 6 foot rule for social distancing, the effectiveness of wearing masks, what the various COVID vaccines would do, and used his position of power to fear monger a huge percentage of the nation into staying home for days, weeks, and months, lead to the closing of most businesses and churches, and shutting down schools for nearly 2 years that caused massage damage to millions of children, teens, and young adults from kindergarten to college. Also present was MSNBC’s chief strategist for lies and hoaxes Rachel Maddow. When I saw her in the pews I was waiting for the building to be struck by lightning! Of course Maddow has been the thru thread of every lie and hoax concerning Trump starting with the Russsssia hoax a decade ago thru the lies she continues to tell today.

Former Clinton VP Al Gore was there. Of course Gore was one of the fathers of the climate hoax, declaring many times over the last 25 years that the earth would be destroyed by climate change. Most interesting was the illegitimate 46th President of the United States Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill. Biden will go down in history as the most corrupt politician in the history of our Republic and he will never be forgiven for purposely opening the border and allowing 20 million unvetted people from all over the world to invade our country. Seated next to Dr. Jill was none other than Kammy whose 2024 campaign for President was one of the most pathetic ever run spending nearly $2 billion dollars in her losing effort. Joe Biden grudgingly said hello to Kammy while Dr. Jill exchanged only a few words with her.

Of course the guest of honor was the deceased Dick Cheney whose life in politics was about one thing, WAR! Cheney’s wealth came from his membership on the board of defense contractors like Halliburton. His supposed boss President W. Bush eulogized Cheney and even tho Cheney was the architect of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, W was the President and is just as guilty of sending to their death 7,000 US troops, 53,000 troops being injured, many maimed for life, costing the US taxpayers $6 TRILLION DOLLARS and another $2 TRILLION DOLLARS in veteran’s care and interest on the debt!

As I watched the funeral service on Thursday, I only had one thought, I would have given anything to be in that pulpit of the National Cathedral and climb down to stand in front of those gathered and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, giving an invitation to those who wanted to commit their lives by faith to Jesus to come forward and make that public proclamation of faith. Sadly, the National Cathedral is part of the heretical Episcopal Church that I declared in a Daily Devotional over 20 years ago to be anathema! So it was not a surprise that at the Cheney funeral in this Cathedral that celebrates sin were many of the greatest liars, fraudsters, hoaxers, who engaged in criminal behavior and greatly damaged our country to advance their own personal agendas!

As many of you know, I am a very big sports fan. Please indulge me, GO BUCKEYES!!! O-H! Sports has been a part of my life since I was very little. I have played many different sports at different levels from 6 until my early 40s when Liveprayer began and there just wasn’t time. I have always followed all kinds of sports and many weekends I unwind and escape by spending several hours in front of the television watching whatever sporting event is on. While it is something that I enjoy, there are some weekends that I overdo it and wonder if that was the best use of my time.

As I have stated in past Devotionals, each day is a wonderful gift from God. It is unique unto itself, and when it is gone it is never coming back. The one equalizer all people enjoy is that we each get 24 hours each day. The issue then becomes how we use that time God gives us.

I am a firm believer in balance. I believe the Bible teaches us to live balanced lives. Balance between our work, our family, our time of relaxation, and our time serving God. Of course, throughout all of this, the thread that runs through every aspect of our life is our personal relationship with the Lord. That is with us at all times, and is a part of everything we do.

We can't delegate our relationship with Christ to being just a part of our life, but it must be the common element in ALL of our life.

Having said that, I want to encourage you and challenge you today to take 15 minutes and sit down with a legal pad. Set up the following categories down the left hand side of the page. Work/School, Family, Recreation, Serving God, Sleep. Now, there are 168 hours in a week. As best as you can, fill in the amount of hours you spend in each category. The family time is time you spend with your wife and/or children doing things together. The recreation time includes TV, the Internet, as well as any hobbies you may have. Time involved in church activities and worship would be included in the Serving God section.

A good balance would be 40-50 hours in Work/School, 40-50 hours in Sleep, and 20-30 hours a week in Family, Recreation, and Serving God. Now, of course, this will vary depending on your living situations and other factors, but it will at least give you some idea in black and white of how you spend your time.

The purpose of this is two-fold. First, to again get you to realize that in ALL aspects of our life, our personal relationship with Christ must be present. Secondly though, most people I have counseled in this area over the years end up with the Family, Recreation, and Serving God sections totally out of balance. It is usually weighted heavily in the Recreation area.

Most need to make an effort to turn off the TV and computer more, and spend more time with the family and in ways to serve the Lord. We often use the TV, computer, books, and hobbies as avenues of escape. There is nothing wrong with that in perspective. It is a problem though when we fail to deal properly with our family issues and commitments, when we have hours to spend watching TV, but have no time to help out at church.

I love you and care about you so much!!! I don't need to say any more about this. The Holy Spirit is more than able to take these words and convict those who need convicting. I will be praying for you today, that you pay attention to how you are spending your time. Never forget that each day is a precious gift from God and we are to be good stewards of all that God gives us, including time.

The Lord has brought these words into your life today to show you how much He loves you. He wants you to be the best you can be and know ALL of His blessings in your life. The fact is, the time we have in this life is so very brief. While we need to balance our time as we live in this world, let us never forget that everything we are and everything we have, including our time, belongs to Him.
