The LivePrayer Revival
Daily Devotional for Friday January 9, 2026
The choices we make along life’s journey can be a blessing or a curse! and, A Biblical principle for you today!
DAILY DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY JANUARY 9, 2026
(1 Kings 8:1-24)
***Personal Message For You From Bill Keller***
The Lord, not man, will always have the final word in every situation!
***Daily Personal Prayer For You***
In Deuteronomy 30:19 God's Word says, “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” Despite our sin and rebellion You still give us signs that you are not finished with our nation. May Your people out of love and gratitude rise up and lead the nation back to You and Your Truth!!!

Renee Nicole Good is the woman who tried to kill an ICE officer with her vehicle in Minneapolis Wednesday and in self-defense was shot and sadly died at the scene. It turns out Good wasn’t just a casual observer, but was the ringleader of the protests against ICE on Wednesday. She was the main person leading the harassment of the ICE agents all morning as they were simply trying to do their job and enforce the Federal immigration laws of our nation. At one point she told ICE that she was a “legal observer” despite not being a lawyer.
What this means is she was almost assuredly getting paid by some organization to head up the protests against ICE. Finding out who she was working with, being paid by, could be a huge break in exposing the professionally organized and financed “protests” against ICE in Minnesota and across the nation! We learned Thursday that the FBI has a special team working on uncovering who the organizers and funders of these ICE protests are. One source has stated China is deeply involved, we will soon find out if they are involved.
People at every stage of life need to understand that their daily decisions can lead to a life of peace, joy, and abundance, or a life of hardships, bad consequences, and even an early death. Sadly Good is a perfect example of this truth. She was a married wife to an Air Force vet and the couple had 3 children. Sadly several years ago her husband suddenly died of a heart attack. A short time later Good ended up in Minneapolis in a perverted marriage to another woman along with her 6 year old son.
THE CHOICES SHE MADE LED HER FROM A TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE TO A PERVERTED MARRIAGE. IT LED HER TO A PLACE IN LIFE WHERE SHE WAS HARASSING AND GOING AFTER FEDERAL OFFICERS AND WHEN CONFRONTED CHOSE TO TRY AND KILL ONE WITH HER VEHICLE. THAT CHOICE LEAD TO HER DEATH!
An extreme example you might say, but after 33 yrs of ministry, over 26 years online, 23 years on TV this March, I can assure you that if you track the arc of a person’s life, chart their decisions, you will quickly see that decisions we make along the journey that may not seem life changing often are! Pray daily that you seek the Lord even when making what you may feel is a minor decision, that the Lord will guide your steps and show you the way HE wants you to go. Amen!

***January Financial Update***
Praise the Lord! Thanks to the prayers and generous sacrifices of many in the Liveprayer family, we ended 2025 with a shortfall of just $80,000. So far we have covered $25,000 leaving a 2025 balance of $55,000. I am praying that we can clear up the balance of our 2025 shortfall over the next week so we can begin to work on the $55,000 we require for our January ministry operations. OUR GOD IS ABLE!
The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. God will bless your gift no matter the amount.
Also, don't forget a gift of $1,800 covers one day of ministry at Liveprayer. I received this email recently, “Pastor Bill, My wife and I have just sold our last rental and God told us to tithe $1,800.00 to pay for a day of your ministry. Not looking for accolades, just that you know when you receive the check. Rest assured that we will still be making our regular weekly tithes."
To give a gift to Liveprayer you can use your major credit card at: http://liveprayer.com/donate.cfm or you can mail your gift to: Liveprayer, 6662 46th Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. All gifts to Liveprayer are 100% tax deductible!
Stocks! A great way to help Liveprayer is by donating stock. The transfer can be made in a way you get the full credit for your donation without having to pay any of the taxes you normally would on gains your stocks may have enjoyed. By the way I have been seeking the Lord since the start of this year for God to lead someone He has blessed richly to make a legacy gift of $15,000,000 to Liveprayer. That would insure that when God decides to call me home Liveprayer will continue to impact lives and lead lost souls to faith in Jesus for a minimum of 20 years. Please stand in agreement with me for the Lord to raise up that person!
Live on after you are in Heaven!!! By remembering God's work here at Liveprayer in your will/estate planning, you can still help me share His Truth with the masses, be here for people in their time of greatest need, and help lead the lost to faith in Jesus even after God has called you home!!! God has led many of our friends in the Liveprayer family to remember His work here in their will. Please pray about this opportunity to continue and partner with me in the Lord's work at Liveprayer, even after you are enjoying your rewards and the eternal peace of Heaven! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at: bkeller@liveprayer.com
There is a Biblical principle that I learned many years ago that I want to share with you today. Biblical principles are like scientific laws. They work. The law of gravity works, there are no exceptions. Biblical principles work, there are no exceptions. One of those Biblical principles is sowing into your need.
Now trust me, many of God's principles don't make much sense. But then again, when God gave the army generals the battle plan for taking the city of Jericho, I doubt that walking around the walls of the city and blowing trumpets was something that made much sense either.
I am convinced that many things God does, don't make sense to us because we have to realize that only God could make something like that work. This principle is very easy to understand. You give when you yourself have a need. Common sense says if I have a need, I hold on to what I have or my need becomes worse.
I am sure that is what the widow of Zarephath was thinking when the prophet Elijah asked her for her last bit of food. This woman literally gave the man of God the last thing she had. Talk about faith.
Faith is not a word, but it is a belief system. Faith is easy to talk about, hard to practice. The problem with exercising our faith is our brain gets in the way. The enemy puts doubt in our mind. Living our faith becomes the test of our Christian experience. From the thousands of prayer requests we get here daily, I realize that so many of you are struggling with your finances.
There are many great Christian financial ministries that can help people apply biblical principles to their financial life. I would encourage you to invest a few dollars and study their teaching and follow those biblical principles that can help you keep your finances healthy.
I would encourage those of you today that are in the midst of a financial crisis to sow into your need. I have done this continually throughout my ministry. Even now as we work each month to raise the finances to keep Liveprayer going, I sow a seed into other ministries the Lord lays on my heart knowing that God will honor my faith and bless us in return.
My friend, it works. Look at the widow. She gives the man of God her last bit of food, and soon afterwards her son dies. God blesses her faith by using the man of God to bring that son back to life! Sowing into your need works!!! God's principles work!!!
I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying for you today. I care about you very much and will do everything I can each day to share the things God places in my heart to try and help you along this great journey we are on. You are never too young to begin applying God's principles into your life.
What happens is, when we obey and God's blessings flow from our obedience, our faith is strengthened. The next time we have to exercise our faith, we do it more readily since we already have seen God move before. We gain confidence that our faith is real, God is real, and His way does work.
I pray that you who are struggling financially today will give into your need. I don't care where you give, just give and show God you believe His Word and trust Him. God cannot lie and His Word is the absolute truth that you can stake your very life and eternal existence on. Trust Him today and watch Him work miracles in your life!
In His love and service,
Your friend and co-laborer in His work,
Bill Keller
