I need your help today! I am asking everyone to pray for Liveprayer today and for the Lord to move on the hearts of those friends He has blessed and enabled to help me at this critical time! In 2 weeks on the 31st Liveprayer will celebrate our 27th anniversary. From day one, Liveprayer has been a true walk of faith. No advertisers, no sponsors, no book sales, no trips or cruises, no concerts or conventions, just 24/7 ministry and trust the Lord to provide for our earthly needs to operate.

Paul didn’t use his wisdom or cleverness to raise the funds he needed for his various missionary journeys. He simply rolled up his sleeves, ministered to the people, shared his earthly needs with those he ministered to, and challenged them to give to enable him to do the work God had called him to. That is the model I prayed about and have used here at Liveprayer from day one, minister and trust the Lord to provide for the daily needs!

The spiritual freedom is clear. I don’t have advertisers, or sponsors, or people who I sell dog food for calling me at 3am threatening to withhold their money if I don’t take a certain position on an issue. Yes, over the nearly 3 decades of Liveprayer I have had many donors stop giving to Liveprayer because of the Biblical stands I take on issue like living together and marriage, sins like abortion and homosexuality, and the Biblical teachings regarding Israel, immigration, and the death penalty to name a few. That is ultimately between them and the Lord.

That is fine since in the end I will one day stand before the Lord and at that moment I can hold my head high and proclaim that I refused to compromise His Truth found in the Bible for money! I told the people His Truth no matter the personal consequences to myself. I refused to bow to the gods of this temporal world for personal gain, many million dollar offers over the years to use the ministry as a marketing tool. Instead I literally trusted my God to provide for my daily needs EVEN WHEN THEY WERE OFTEN ON A DAILY BASIS!

MY GOAL WASN’T HOW MUCH MONEY I COULD ACCUMULATE IN THIS WORLD, BUT HOW MANY SOULS CAN I HELP LEAD TO ETERNITY WITH GOD THEIR CREATOR!!! WHILE AFTER NEARLY 7 DECADES OF LIFE I HAVE NO TREASURES LAID UP IN THIS LIFE, INSTEAD I HAVE BEEN LAYING UP TREASURES IN MY ETERNAL HOME!!!

Over 27 years I have found myself in a time of great financial challenge 4 times, and the Lord moved on people’s hearts to help me at that time to help us get through it! The previous times also came late in the summer months as donations always slow in June, July, and August. In addition, we have had several friends who God had led to help Liveprayer in a significant way over many years who have gone on to their rewards in Glory. Thankfully, the Lord raises up new friends who are able to step up and help me at the most difficult times but I can always use more!

As we head into the final 2 weeks of July here is what our needs are! We still have the final $30,000 from June’s shortfall and the $55,000 from our July ministry operations. That is $85,000 we were short starting August. I desperately need that final $30,000 from June that is way past due over the next 24 hours or by the end of Tuesday. That will allow me to have the final days of August to clear up the $55,000 from July.

LIVEPRAYER HAS PROVEN OVER 27 YEARS TO BE GOOD SOIL FOR YOUR SEED!

That would mean we start September requiring the $55,000 from our August operations and the $55,000 we will require in September, or $110,000 throughout September to end the 3rd quarter of the year with all of our ministry operations current! OUR GOD IS ABLE!

The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. God will bless your gift no matter the amount.
