satan is a LIAR and a LOSER! In the midst of battling thru our current financial challenges, our techs got a weekly security patch to keep LP.com up to date on all security measures. Sometimes those patches conflict with existing portions of the website so that instead of being down for an hour could keep us down for 4-5 hours while they work thru the issue. Such was the case Tuesday, but by the grace of God we were back up and pressing on towards the prize for HIS glory! Amen!
I need your help today! As we head into the final days of August here is what our needs are! We covered $3,000 of the critical $30,000 balance of our June operations Monday leaving the final $27,000 from June’s shortfall and the $55,000 from our July ministry operations. That is $82,000 we require before the end of the month to clear up our shortfalls we had starting August.
I desperately need that final $27,000 from June that is way past due over the next 24 hours! That will allow me to have the final days of August to clear up the $55,000 from July. If you have sold some property, a business, had a financial windfall of some sort but haven’t tithed on that windfall, please pray about planting that seed in the proven good soil of Liveprayer at this critical time! A warning to parents! KNOW WHAT YOUR CHILD IS BEING EXPOSED TO IN SCHOOL, THE CURRICULUM, THE TEACHERS, ANY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS, AND FIELD TRIPS!
Parents in California are suing their child’s school for taking that child on a field trip to a local mosque where girls were asked to wear hijabs and all of the students got a copy of the Qu’ran. It has been a while, but I remember when I was in school we had to have our parents sign a permission note to go on a field trip. Apparently in some places that is no longer the practice.
Many schools starting at the elementary level have after school programs that they keep secret from the parents. These are usually programs designed to have the student question their gender, sexuality, even though at those ages it is the last thing children should be thinking about!
The home school programs exploded after COVID and parents were exposed for the first time to the subjects their children were being introduced to. Between after school programs dealing with sexuality, pornographic books in school libraries, and the general curriculum being taught, many parents were floored by the adult content their children were being taught at such young ages.
I understand that homeschooling is not possible for some families, in those cases the parents need to pay close attention to everything your child is being exposed to in school and who their teachers are. Parents can no longer just trust the local school and teachers to educate their child as expected. Sadly today, that education goes way out of bounds, like field trips to a local mosque!

***August Financial Update***
I need your help today! As we head into the final days of August here is what our needs are! The Bible teaches us to “give according to our ability to give.” For some that may be $10 or $20. For others it may be $50 or $100. Still others it may be $200, $500, $1,000, $10,000 or more. God will bless your gift no matter the amount.

(I wrote these following words in April of 2000. Liveprayer was only 8 months old at the time. How prescient they have proved to be!)
Many of the emailed prayer requests I get each day are from people who came to know Christ at some point in their life, and have fallen away from that relationship. They are usually emailing me because they are now at a point of crisis in their life. They, unfortunately, have discovered that this verse in Deuteronomy is very true.
You see, as I discuss so much with you, God has given you the free will to choose what you want to do. When you choose to rebel, to turn your back on God, He allows that to happen. But there are ramifications of those choices and often they are quite severe. This verse in Deuteronomy was actually a warning from God to His people. It was very simple. Obey and enjoy God's blessings. Disobey and suffer the consequences of being on your own, apart from God.
This verse is NOT to be used as a club, or to scare people into following God, or to say that God is going to curse you every time you disobey. God does not operate that way. You see, when you rebel against God, what you do is put yourself apart from God and His blessings and promises.
When Adam rebelled in the Garden, his punishment was separation from God. I can't tell you what Hell will be like, but one thing I do know, God won't be there! Hell is eternal separation from our Creator! When you obey God, you are under His hand of blessing, His promises are yours to claim, you reap the benefits of being in a relationship with Him. When you rebel, you separate yourself from God and are literally “on your own.”
I want to encourage you today. God has put many warnings into His word. Not to make us obey out of fear, but to obey out of love and try and warn us of the consequences of rebellion. He loves you and cares about you. He is fair. He doesn't try to hide what happens when we choose to do it our way. He tells us up front that we are on a road of destruction so that we can make an informed decision.
Most of us have learned this the hard way. Some of you today are in the midst of a crisis in your life because you chose to forget God. I can only encourage you today that God loves you, and is in the forgiving business. He wants to be back in an intimate relationship with you. He wants to restore you to fellowship. But He won't force Himself upon you. It is ultimately your decision. You have to take the first step to return to Him.
I love you and care about you so much. I will be praying today that you never forget God and turn from Him. There is never any lasting joy and only destruction awaiting you when you make that decision. Stay focused on Him. Keep your eyes on Him. Don't ever forsake Him!!
