One of the greatest “big picture” threats to our nation today! and, Absolute Truth exists!

***THE DAILY LIVEPRAYER TV NUGGET: The greatest “big picture” threat to our nation today is the erosion our Constitutional right in the very First Amendment, THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH! Perhaps nothing has set this great nation apart from the rest of the world like this GUARANTEED RIGHT TO SPEAK FREELY! Governments dating back to the beginning of man 6,000 years ago have controlled the people by controlling their speech. Authoritative regimes throughout history have censored the speech of the people to insure the government narrative on whatever issue, was the only narrative in the public ether. Those who had an opposing opinion were fined, jailed, even killed. That type of speech tyranny is alive and well in the world today in places like China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela. While those may be the most egregious examples of government censorship in our world today, many would be shocked that some form of government censorship exists it pretty much EVERY NATION! Again, the US is the only country with a Constitutionally protected right to the freedom of speech. While we may assume European countries, a modern democracy like South Korea, our neighbor to the north Canada, allow their citizens to speak freely, that is not true. In virtually every nation, speaking out against the government is not tolerated with a variety of punishment for offenders. With the advent of the internet, virtually 100% of speech today is online. This has made censoring speech a much easier job. Now, with the advancement of artificial intelligence, combing thru an endless ocean of data in emails, text messages, social media sites, message boards, encrypted messaging apps, and websites has become a much easier task for governments to identify speech they want to censor.

Any real and focused suppression of our freedom of speech in the US really began in November of 2016 after Donald Trump won the Presidency. That event gave rise to private companies as well as the government intelligence community to start putting pressure on the giant social media platforms to censor primarily political speech promoting pro-Trump/America First/conservative viewpoints. We saw that censorship in full force during the Chinese-Flu pandemic. It has also been used effectively in the last 20 months to stifle speech that went against the government narrative during the current war between Russia and Ukraine. OBVIOUSLY, THERE ARE PLANS TO USE ALL LEVERS OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ALONG WITH HUNDREDS OF WELL FUNDED PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS TO CENSOR PRO-TRUMP SPEECH AS WE HEAD INTO THE 2024 ELECTION NEXT NOVEMBER! The logical question is how is this happening when we have the 1st amendment of the Constitution? The censorship is being pushed based on claims that people who traffic in “hate speech” must be silenced. Anti-free speech YouTube CEO Neal Mohan recently stated that at YouTube, “safety” is prioritized over freedom of speech. So under the auspices of stopping “hate speech,” stopping speech that “hurts people,” censorship of a person’s right to speak freely has become a major issue over the past 7 years and is only going to get worse! The natural question is who gets to determine what is hate speech, what is speech that hurts people? The globalists who have a huge role in governing most nations, a thoroughly liberal corporate press in the US and around the world, and well-funded private companies who promote the globalist agenda use their huge platforms to tell the public what speech is acceptable and what speech is not!

God showed me in the first months of Liveprayer over 24 years ago, that the power of the internet would become such that at some point there would be a move to censor CHRISTIAN SPEECH! While not widespread, yet, it is already happening, trust me! So as the erosion of our 1st Amendment continues, we are getting closer each day to seeing basic Christian speech censored for being hate speech or speech that hurts people. The far left self-appointed hate group watchdog Southern Poverty Law Center TWELVE YEARS AGO identified myself and this ministry as a hate group on their national “hate map” for simply preaching the Truth of God’s Word. While some people may dismiss the SPLC, the fact is they are now raking in hundreds of millions of dollars annually advising the US government along with public and private corporations regarding who is and who is not a hate group. So be praying my friend. Speak up while you still can. Unless there is a major change in the direction of our nation, the suppression of our 1st Amendment right to free speech is well underway and getting worse with each passing day!

My friend, one of the greatest concerns that I have about our society, is the failure to accept the fact that ABSOLUTE TRUTH exists. Life is NOT gray, it is black and white. It is either the truth, or it is a lie. That begs the question, where do we find ABSOLUTE TRUTH? Society will tell you that each person should each be able to determine for themselves what truth is. That sounds wonderful, but practically speaking can't ever work.

Why? Well, what I feel is right, someone else might look at as wrong. What I think is wrong, someone else may think is right. To allow each one of us to determine for ourselves what truth is can NEVER work since the standard for each one of us is different.

That is why the ONLY source for ABSOLUTE TRUTH is God. God took the effort to give us His inspired, inerrant Word. That is where we find ABSOLUTE TRUTH. God also gave each one of us free will. That means we are free to believe whatever we want. But what one person chooses to believe will not change or alter the TRUTH of God found in the Bible. It is immutable, never changing. It is the foundation, the bedrock on which we can live our very lives.

Again, you are free to accept or reject what God says in the Bible. Why do you think those who make choices in rebellion to the truth of God's Word will ALWAYS dismiss the Bible as just a book of stories written by men who use it for their own purposes? Those who rebel against God have to deny Him or admit they are wrong.

It is critical for each one of those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior to stand up for the truth of God's word in your day-to-day life. God has called us to be the defenders of His truth. Don't be afraid to call sin sin. People will mock you, laugh at you, call you names, even strike you, but that will not change the truth.

We live in a time when the LIE is glorified, proclaimed boldly every way imaginable, and told enough times that people actually begin to accept the lie as the truth. Yet we, the people of faith, the people who possess the ABSOLUTE TRUTH of God's Word, meekly and passively sitting by, watching, keeping our mouths shut, satisfied going into our churches on Sunday and locking the doors so nobody will hear us!!!

I WANT TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TODAY TO CHALLENGE EACH PERSON WHO READS THESE WORDS TODAY TO PRAY TO GOD AND ASK HIM FOR COURAGE, BOLDNESS, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO BE ABLE TO SHARE WITH OTHERS THE TRUTH OF HIS WORD.

You don't have to preach to do this. Simply live your day-to-day life in an uncompromising way that lets the lost and hurting around you know your life is different. You don't buy into the lies of this world. You don't fall into the traps so many do because you are armed with the TRUTH. And when those opportunities present themselves, boldly speak up and let people know what God says!

God doesn't call us to think for people. God doesn't call us to save anyone. We can't do that. What we CAN DO is share the truth of His Word with others, that is our job. What they choose to do with that truth then becomes an issue for them and God.

ALSO, I KNOW MANY PASTORS READ THIS DEVOTIONAL EACH DAY. TO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO GOD HAS CALLED TO DO HIS WORK AND BE GENERALS IN HIS ARMY, LET ME SAY THAT I UNDERSTAND THE TRIALS THAT YOU FACE EACH DAY. BUT THE ONE THING THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO GOD IS COMPROMISE. HEAR THIS WORD FROM HIM TODAY! IN ALL THAT YOU DO, THE ONE THING THAT YOU MUST NEVER DO IS COMPROMISE THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF HIS WORD. TELL IT LOUD, TELL CLEAR, TELL IT BOLDLY, TELL IT WITH LOVE, AND NEVER COMPROMISE THE TRUTH OF HIS HOLY WORD!

I love you and care about you so much. God has called me to bring to His ABSOLUTE TRUTH to the world each day. NOTHING, EVER, will slow me down. As a matter of fact, satan's attempts to hinder His work here only emboldens me to do more. Your prayers and your love mean more then you will ever know. Thank you very much and know you and your family are in mine each day. We press on towards the prize!!!
