Let me say this right up front. Do I think Dr. Phil is an evil man? NO! Do I think Dr. Phil is an agent of satan? NO! Do I think Dr. Phil has bad motives? NO! Dr. Phil is simply sharing in a direct way the position SECULAR PSYCHOLOGISTS take to problems. THE ONLY REAL ANSWERS TO THE PROBLEMS PEOPLE FACE IN THIS LIFE ARE FOUND IN THE INSPIRED, INERRANT WORD OF GOD! When you are facing a problem, you can either take the counsel of the world, or the counsel of God! ONLY GOD’S COUNSEL WORKS IN THE LONG RUN!!!
Much of what Dr. Phil says DOES make sense. That is because without knowing it, he will accidentally espouse Biblical solutions in some cases but the danger of Dr. Phil is that his point of reference and his counsel is coming from a non-biblical, secular perspective. His counsel is a band-aid at best and can be harmful since it is NOT God’s way. You see, when we find ourselves caught up in the trials and tribulations of life, there is only ONE PLACE to find real answers. There is only ONE PLACE to find direction. That is the BIBLE! THAT is our final authority in ALL matters!!!
Sadly, those who share Biblical solutions to life’s problems in the mainstream media are called kooks, whackos, Bible-bangers, and other names. The mainstream psychological community thumbs its nose at those who take a Biblical view on dealing with life’s problems, since they refuse accept the authority of the Bible. Sadly, they are 100% WRONG! God has addressed in His Word every single issue that a person will possibly face in this life. It is ONLY by following HIS Word, the counsel of God, that we can see real victory in the problems that we all face during our life.
I love you and care about you so much. For those that have been sucked into the “Dr. Phil love fest”, please, save the hate mail. The bottom line is that as good as this man may be in his heart, his counsel is NOT God’s counsel, it is man’s counsel! He is NOT being led by the Spirit of God in his work but the spirit of this world. Sadly, millions are being seduced and led down a path of emptiness when they follow the counsel of the ungodly. IF THEY WOULD ONLY READ THE BIBLE . . . THEY WOULD FIND THEIR ANSWERS!!!
Let me encourage you today. If you are having problems in your life, the psychics are NOT your answers. Dr. Phil is not your answer. The shrink on the corner is not your answer. GOD IS YOUR ANSWER. You need to talk to your pastor or talk to a Certified Christian Psychologist that will give you counsel from the Word of God!!! This is the only counsel that will truly help you to victory. When you have problems in your life, are you going to listen to a mere man or to the one who created that man?
